They had an idea and decided that a bonus would pay 10 to 1 and cash out when the player made a 21, for instance; Jack of spades with an ace of clubs. They called it “Blackjack”.
21 began to increase in popularity, and by the 1930′s the game was the third most famous game of Las Vegas. Although in the 1950′s it was only second after craps.
